Can foreign nationals give birth in China?
Yes. FFCH welcomes international patients — the clinic's International Department works with patients from 100+ countries. Ekaterina Kolokolova arranges a medical invitation from FFCH, helps obtain a medical visa for the mother and a companion, books the flight and arranges the transfer.
When should I arrive before the birth?
It's recommended to arrive 2–4 weeks before the due date — so there's time for pre-delivery examinations at FFCH, to meet your doctor and settle in. For complex pregnancies — earlier. Exact timing is discussed individually with the obstetric department.
Will an interpreter be with me?
