Three levels of precision —
from scan to implantation

01
TiRobot II
A robotic system for spine, pelvis and joint surgery. It delivers implant-placement accuracy unattainable by hand. Minimal incisions, minimal blood loss, fast recovery.

Used for: herniated and bulging discs, spinal canal stenosis, scoliosis, vertebral fractures, spinal tumors, hip and knee replacement.
Robotic precision · minimal incision
02
3D-printed implants
From the patient's CT and MRI, a digital 3D model is built. The implant is printed from medical-grade titanium — matching that individual's anatomy precisely. No "standard sizes."

Partner: A 3D-printing center in partnership with Shanghai Ninth Hospital — one of China's leading orthopedic centers.
Patient-specific implant · medical titanium
03
Da Vinci Xi
Da Vinci robotic surgery is used for minimally invasive orthopedic procedures — especially for cancerous bone and joint lesions requiring microsurgical precision.

Result: discharge in 2–3 days instead of 7–10 with conventional surgery.
Sub-millimeter precision · discharge in 2–3 days

Answers to the key questions

How much does spine surgery in China cost?
The cost is determined individually — after the FFCH orthopedic board reviews your scans. Within 48 hours of receiving your CT or MRI you'll get a surgical plan and a precise estimate in yuan (CNY). Payment goes directly to the clinic — not through an intermediary.
What is TiRobot and what is its advantage?
TiRobot is a robotic surgical system for spine and joint surgery. Unlike conventional surgery, the robot follows a digital plan with accuracy unattainable by hand. That means: smaller incision, less blood loss, more precise implant placement and faster recovery.
Are CT and MRI scans from my country suitable for a consultation?
Yes. FFCH surgeons work with digital scans in DICOM format (from a disc from your local clinic). There's no need to travel just for diagnostics — simply send the files to Ekaterina via Telegram or WeTransfer. If the scans need updating, that can be done locally too.
How long is recovery after TiRobot surgery?
With robotic surgery, recovery is significantly faster — thanks to minimal incisions and precise placement. Timelines depend on the procedure: after spinal decompression patients are up the next day; after joint replacement, in 2–3 days. After discharge from FFCH we arrange TCM recovery using traditional Chinese medicine.
Can I come for surgery with a companion?
Yes. The FFCH Magnolia Building has suites with family areas. Ekaterina helps arrange a medical visa for your companion too. Support includes accommodation near the clinic — the hotel is 300 meters from FFCH.
